Has a Southern Lamps sales rep asked you to send in a sample of your UV lamp so we can check the specs? If so, then this blog is for you!
First of all, please pick out your best looking lamp – It can be used as long as it still fires up. If you choose to send us a brand new lamp we will make sure it gets returned to you.
Once you choose your lamp to send we recommend putting it inside of a cardboard box with minimum width and height of 6” along with sufficient packing material inside (bubble wrap, shredded newspaper, foam packing peanuts, etc.). We do not recommend sending samples in plastic or cardboard tubes as the risk of breakage increases.

If you are sending us a lamp that you would like returned please double-check it to ensure it is packed very well and insure it for the full value in case of transit damage. If you have the time it would also be helpful if you could include a completed copy of the Sample Identification Form inside the box with the lamp. Then send us the tracking number and we will ensure it is received and sent for analysis.
Now that your sample is packed and sent to us please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for analysis. If you have an urgent requirement please request fast track processing.
